Partita deludente nel primo tempo,rovinata dal rigore generoso assegnato dopo 2 minuti al Norwich (il nostro difensore tocca l'avversario, ma è l'avversario che gli pesta il piede e cade):noi abbiam subìto il colpo e non siam riusciti a reagire, loro invece anzichè cercare il secondo gol, si sono adagiati cercando di fare possesso palla - atteggiamento davvero insolito in una partita di Championship - , limitando ulteriormente la nostra fase offensiva, già di per sè deficitaria stasera (gioco povero, tanti errori
). Pochi pericoli, poche emozioni, e si va all'intervallo.
Nel secondo tempo ad un certo punto il Norwich s'è infervorato,ed ha aumentato il ritmo attaccando a testa bassa; da quel momento il match è diventato + avvincente, ma proprio quando i padroni di casa hanno accelerato, noi li abbiam punti con un grande contropiede finalizzato da Adomah (il migliore in campo per noi...anche se stasera in pochi hanno brillato a dire il vero). Dopo il pareggio, la partita si è equilibrata, e anche noi abbiam creato qualcosina, seppur con poca lucidità (questa fase non è stata gestita molto bene...in particolare Campbell-Ryce e Pitman, subentrati molto bene in partita, avrebbero potuto tentare qualche sortita offensiva in +).
Partita che si avvia verso un pareggio che andrebbe benissimo per noi...MA su una distrazione della difesa, Lansbury segna con una bella giocata, e la partita finisce lì...infatti nell'occasione del 3° gol la squadra era già a Bristol con la testa
Che dire...peccato aver sfiorato un pareggio importante...ma la sconfitta ci può stare, visto il gioco migliore e il maggior numero di occasioni avute dal Norwich. Per fortuna in classifica non cambia nulla per noi rispetto a chi è dietro, e quindi è una sconfitta indolore.
